A litle bit about mysef :) my name is lisa im 38 years of age, im a professional​ disco freestyle dancer and have been for 25 years. In the past i have been fortunate enough to have been offered the opportunity to work in disneyland paris and work as a dancer/choreographer. but my passion, knowledge, and professional experience for dance has made me want to open my own dance academy. so here it is.....:) 

I am qualified, crb checked, and have insurance. I am now ready to pass on my passion for dance through teaching.

Disco dance classes are funky, modern and fun. It’s about freedom to express movement to a wide variety of music trends.

Classes will start with a warm-up and students should learn this dance form in a fun, energetic, yet hard working and disciplined environment.

It is an extremely popular form of dancing both for recreational purposes and as a highly competitive sport.

This dance style is fun and enjoyed by boys and girls.

 

slow contemporary dance

Contemporary dance invovlves several dance genres including modern dance, jazz, lyrical and ballet.  This form of dance stresses its versatility and improvisation.

 

Free dance​​​​

Free dance gives you a chance to express yourself and develop your own unique style in dance, whether it be fast or slow dance.

 

As my dance academy becomes more established there will be alot more classes available:)

Disco dancing can also be known as disco/freestyle i make the classes fun, funky, and modern.

High energy disco dancing involves many different types of dancing, dance moves and dance steps, and leaves the dancer free to mix & match and move in any way they desire. A dancer can e.g. do a hip-hop move followed by something jazzy, a split leap, high kicks, turns or you could even throw in a cha-cha-cha step.

Disco dancing is popular with dancers who like to express themselves. It gives them the freedom to dance to whatever music they choose whether it be a fast or slow song, disco is a free dance form and should be joyous for each and every individual.

As with all dance forms, this is a dance style that can be enjoyed by boys and girls. 

My aim is to make sure all my students enjoy themselves & have fun through dance when they join the academy:)
